The club is now in its 41st year of operation as a "Not for Profit" Dance Club. However, it had been in existence as a private dance club for a number of years prior to changing to its current "Not-for Profit " status in 1975.

The club is run by a Board of Directors, all of whom are volunteers. The Board is  elected by the membership annually at our Annual General Meeting, which is usually held in April.

Following the election the board meets to elect a President and vice-president and to appoint the other major officers and allocate functional responsibilities to the various directors.

The club runs four open dances every week ( see our Dance Schedule ) as well as renting the Hall to Dance Teachers for both Line and Social Dance instruction and for private lessons

Special events are held from time to time notably at Christmas and New Years Eve, our Halloween Dance is also very popular with many of our members and guests attending in costume.
